The company's existing website needed a modern overhaul to improve performance, enhance user experience, and most importantly, drive a significant increase in online sales.
I managed and maintained the company's sole React/Next.js website. I spearheaded the revamp of key sections and collaborated with a team to overhaul the site's gallery UI and adding-to-gallery process. For the back-end, I designed and implemented custom business logic, working with databases using Eloquent ORM.
The strategic revamp was a clear success. Within one month of launch, the site saw a 30% surge in new online sales. The enhanced gallery UI also led to an immediate increase in user engagement and gallery additions, which directly boosted traffic to the store and contributed to the overall increase in sales.
